I would say so, the 1000 looks like a cheaper alternative to the r2/3.

If you have a look at the 3.5 drive cage, there's a thumb screw at the top. I wonder if the whole drive cage could be removed? 240mm rad in the front?

It's not bad but it's not as good as the R3 IMO.

i actually quite like it, and course its not gonna be as good as the r3 its built to be basic and its price is prob gonna be that 2

There is a 3000 version that supports ATX.

obviously aimed at the minimalist with just hardware in mind.

im guessing this is the matx variant? looks great if so.
