hi all

as the title says im looking at fitting a rad in the front of the case i had my eyes on a phobya 200 mm rad for the job ive got a 240 60 mm rad in the top that i had kicking about thats now fitted with lots of room for the ram but as i dont want any fan sound i was thinking of a 200 mm in there aswell so i could have slow moveing fans and lots of cooling head room as im still unsure as to what gpu card going to fit
im very happy do some modding as im not going to use the hard drive bays but i was hopeing not to start cuting the 5 1/4 bays just to make room for a rad thats why i was thinking of useing a 200 mm rad

thanks guys for haveing a look at my post just hopeing someone has done this before or has a better idea
best regards dave :)

From what I see, the entire case (including side panels and everything) is 210mm wide. I don't think that you can mount a 200mm rad in there :L

your right mate just did sizeing up today i think ill be puting the 60 mm rad in the front and fit a fin 240 rad in the top

thanks for puting me right there just wen you look at the case it looks very deep case

so what kind of hardware is in the plan for a radiator suggestion? because of
the mini special mounting allows for thick radiators in the roof as well. if there is
a GPU going in the loop, you'll need two 60mm to be comfortable minimum.

well im going with a i5 3570k i think it is
a asus maximus v gene
a 250 gb ssd i think im going with a ocz
8 gb of ram
gpu im not so sure about i dont want to spend more then 200 as i do want to do some gameing on it but i dont need a high end card
ive used 6000 amd cards so i know what thay are like not so sure about the new cards tho and seeing as this rig will be my only intel rig ive ever had i have been looking at nvidia cards as you can imgine its up in the air gpu wise ?

depending on RAM choice you are held at 55mm for Corsair Dominator Platinum
using the GENE. but if using lower profiled RAM, a XT45 240 in the roof with a set
of fans and a 60mm in the front will cool a moderate overclock and late model GPU.
my midi with a GENE-Z and platinums has .5mm of gap. very very tight. if i used
a low-profile RAM heatsink, then anything over 30mm is golden.

im thinking of geting some ballistix or some hyper x its as profile as you can get well as low profile as i can get with out doing an ebay job lol i think thats a good having the 60 mm in the front and a thiner rad in the top that will help the looks too as ive dry fitted the 240 rad i have to say its going hangs over the mobo a lot
