Just waiting for my new 5870 to arrive tomorrow

Sold my 260 for £83, gonna miss the thing as it's been an absolute monster when it comes to gaming and overclocking. Anyone else have fond memories of old graphics cards that just kept on going?

Think my 8800GT was the best card for longevity.

Still got some old classics kicking around, 3Dfx AGP and a S3 Trio64V+ PCI.

Cant throw anything away!!

My 6800 Ultra was by far my favorite card that outlasted anything I've had since. I'll tell ya what though, this dang HD4870 is tough to beat! For instance I have the settings in SC2 cranked all the way up in every department and the cinematics are fluid and gorgeous. I don't think you can beat it for the price!

We had a thread similar to this recently. My fave card ever was my Number 9 Revolution. 8mb AGP card that hauled ass.
