Folders won’t delete

Hey guys,

So I’ve encountered bit of an ”issue”... Now this scenario has occured several times, even after a full fresh reinstall of Windows.

There are 2 folders inside of the ”Pictures” folder in Windows, one called ”Images” and one ”Camera roll” or something like that (can’t remember exactly, as on my phone at the time of writing).

I delete them both, but then after a while they re appear in the same place. So then I deleted them again and then also deleted them in the trash can, thinking ”well if it’s deleted from there, it should be gone, right?”... And after doing that, they still damn re appeared in the same place once again.

Now I honestly have no idea what can be causing this? Virus? Highly unlikely since I’ve got both Kaspersky and Malwarebytes saying anything. And that this also has happened straight after fresh installs?...

Anyone got any clues here?

Just ignore them. The are standard folders. It's like trying to delete your C drive. Makes no sense to. It requires a registry hack in order to remove them. Those folders have inheritance from the camera app and other stuff. You can't just delete them. If you do you risk the stability of the OS. You can Google it yourself on how to remove it, takes a few seconds then find.

I think the culprit here is One Drive, which if I recall correctly recreates the Camera Roll since it's one of the folders which get synced by default.
