Micro ATX Mobo

AMD x3

500w PSU

XFX 5770

Video capture card

2 HDs

Keyboard /Mouse

So the idea is to make a powerfull laptop.... kida.

Going to build in to the case a computer with inbuilt keyboard and popout mouse.

There won't be a battery it is not for that.

I will get a big flight case. Ones made for CDs are quite big.

The lid will hold the monitor and harddrives.

the lower section will have the PSU, Mobo/RAM/CPU, GPU and capture card in it.

Everythingwill be covered with a sheet of plastic that will have a keyboard indented into it.

There will be a draw section where the mouse will be and the power lead.

There will be a few fans taking in air from the left and spurting it out the right of the case. ( See epic blueprints)

In the top section there will be a panel with the mains power on and off, PC turn on. Power and HD activity LEDs. Lazer tags above them.

Also will have two;

showing temps of bottom and top parts.

Will have inbuilt speakers in top lid.

Epic blueprints made in PAINT.EXE!!!

It was either paint on windows PCs or FireWorks on Macs........

Constructive criticism or tips/ ideas.

Jack,

Ps, As I said most of this is on Aria's forum or my blog. Links at top of post.

Can't wait to see build pics. I've seen a few builds similar to this, some were good, others were not so good.

This seems pointless.

99% of what we do is pointless, doesn't make it any less fun or interesting.

Not too long ago I argued with someone about hiding wires. He couldn't see why I would waste my time making sure the inside of a PC looks good and clean. Then again, he also couldn't understand why I had to have an 850w power supply, thought it was overkill. /looks at 2xGTX470.
