flash new BIOS now fans 100% all time

hi flashed a new bios on my Asus Crosshair Forumla IV and now qfan or fan expert works you click apply or change bios options but nothing happens

PLEASE HELP ITS DRIVING ME INSANE

sounds like the issue is in the BIOS. prolly a switch in BIOS to allow

the expert to work, properly. because not everyone uses fan expert..

agreed most likely reset your settings always check bios after flashing.

tried enabling everything i could cleared CMOS and reset to default but Qfan and fanxpert say they are running at 40% speed but they are not cause there is no change in airflow or noise. has them running at 30% last time when no load made pc silent now it sounds like a tornado.

try another fan header. different than what you had and verify control.

after a few days this appears to have corrected its self cheers for the help dunno why it was doing it.

Maybe ambient temps had something to do with it?

electronics doesn't fix itself.. something turned on and your not aware of it. it is either on or off

in computers, so something meet a criteria and connected the paths. stuff like this tends to

make consumers spend obscene amounts of money without necessity.
