First time builder [2 builds drafted]

Thanks for everyones' contributions. I have purchased the following:

Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4 Intel X79
Intel i7-3930k C2
XSPC RayStorm D5 RX240
Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB 1600mMHz
Asus GTX Titan
NZXT Switch 810 Black
OCZ Vertex 4 128GB
WD Caviar Black 1TB HDD
650W Corsair HX Series V2 80Plus Gold Modular
Arctic Silver 5 Performance Thermal Compound - 3.5g

All came to around £2,200 and I decided to get the RX240 because I will only be WC'ing the CPU at the moment and afterwards I might use the 240 for my graphics card (expand loop) and get a 360 for my CPU.

Because a hex core intel rig will rape the 8core amd rig.

I prefer Intel and yeh from what reviews have said the 3930k performs a lot better overall and singe core as well. Hopefully it all goes smooth with the build, ill be starting a thread once I receive all the components!
