First steps into water cooling

I'm about to take my first step into building a water cooling kit, and I'm looking for some advice.

The Case i'm using in an Atex 1200, baught because I innitially didn't plan on using water cooling but now, I am, so i'm pretty much stuck with it.

My parts list thus far looks like this: (Copypasted straight from a website's shopping basket)

Swiftech Apogee™ GTZ 1366 (i7) CPU Block

- Barb Size 1/2" Nickel Plated

Black Ice GT Xtreme 240 Radiator

- Barb Size 1/2" Nickel Plated

XSPC Bay Reservoir - Black

- Barb Size 1/2" Nickel Plated

Xilence Pro Fan 120L 1300RPM 120mm (x2)

12V Laing D5 Vario Pump (MCP655)

1/2" ID - 3/4" OD Tygon R3603 Hose

- Hose Length 4 Meters

PrimoChill PURE Performance Coolant (32 oz.) - UV Blue

Black PVC Hose Clip 1/2" OD (10 Pack)

I'd like to get good quality parts, but not excessivly pricey ones - give or take £300 is going to be my upper limit. That list is my entire basket just now; I'm wondering - are the parts compatable, or is anything missing?

The design I'm going for is hanging the rad out the back of the case. I'm also only really interested in a CPU cooling loop just now, the waterblocks for the GTX295 arn't exactly cheap, and I don't fancy taking it to bits to get it installed.

Thanks for your help.

Looks pretty good to me! Id say you probably dont need that much tubing, I normally have plenty with 2 meters per loop but if you want to get a bit more to be sure feel free :)

But other than that, all looks good! You could get 4 fans and have 2 on each side of the rad which would improve cooling a little but thats not essential by any means

Awsome, thanks.

My biggest concern was buying the parts, and then finding that I hadn't ordered a certain bit, or missed something. Originally, this lead to me wanting to buy a complete-DIY kit such as the Swiftech H20-220 Ultima, but then I thought that I may as well just buy the parts indevidually - so I read up a bit and put together a list.

2 questions tho:

1) The coolant I'm buying in the above list: Is it a pre-mixed fluid I simply pour into my resivour and it works fine, or do I need to add anything to it? Also, what is the performance like compared to a home-bru fluid that I mix myself?

The reason I'm asking is that I'm aware a biocode such as Iodine is needed, wondering if I'll need to add it myself.

2) Is that everything I need? If I went ahead and ordered the list, will I have my complete kit?

Oh, one more question:

To mount the Rad on the back of the Antec 1200, are any additional screws required or are they supplied?

What length will I need, will 40mm ones be enough?
