New Case

Hello everyone

It's not been a while and I'm beginning to plan my water cooling loop that will be used on my Ryzen build. But there's just one problem, my 400C.
I don't know why but I can't shake the thought that I'm not a great fan of this case. I would list why but I don't want to write too much.

So I'm currently in the market for a new one, but I'm not sure on what to get, all I want is:

1. Sleek design (Nothing flashy or gamer style)
2. PSU Shroud
3. Decent WC support
4. Tempered Glass
5. Under £150

I've found the FD Define C and Enthoo Pro M Glass but that's about it.

I'm drawn to the Enthoo more because of the design of it and it looks like it does have more WC mounting options, does anyone have any experience with these cases or can suggest anything different?

Thanks

The Define C probably won't fit a top-mounted radiator with your RAM, so I wouldn't get that if you plan on water cooling. Afaik the Enthoo Pro M does have pretty decent water cooling support.

You might also want to look at the Coolermaster H500p which just came out, but that might be too flashy for you. Tom posted a review on it earlier today.

Coolermaster H500P fits your bill nicely imo.

Define S watercooling has many good points too, but no glass and no psu shroud natively...

Pretty much nailed why that was out the question, I took one look and thought, remove all the flash and that would have been perfect.

Radiator mounting isn't much of a problem because I was planning on mounting a 360 at the front if I can't fit it up top and just have 3 120's exhausting instead.

Aye it does, except the flashiness of the exterior... Did look at the define S and you've pointed out why I said no to it.

I don't know why but I just want my machine to look clean, so cables hidden and everything I'm probably being too strict on what I want lol :D

Thank you though for the info as well, will take it into account

You don't need glass for it to look clean. I do agree on the psu shroud side though.

You want what you want. Maybe it's because I'm a modder that i think this way, i don't know. But if the define s ticks all the boxes, except the shroud: mod one in. It just requires a bit of plastic, a saw, some heat and about 20 minutes of time (longer if you spray paint it), so to me that is not a deal breaker. If it is the glass that is the deal breaker (the only other missing point), then i don't know how to mod that in myself (yet), but I'm pretty sure it could be done quite easily too (just unsure of cost - glass can be expensive).

The other upshot to making little changes to a case, they make it yours. For all i know, there are millions of define s cases out there. But i can pretty much guarantee, I'm the only one with the exact layout, colouring etc as mine has. I liked the define s when i first saw it. After having played with out and tinkered, i love it more.

Sorry to derail the thread...
