By the looking through other threads, I hope this is the right place to post this.
So this would be my first pc that I will put together myself, which will mainly be used for gaming purposes and occasionally some cad programs. Although I would consider myself somewhat experienced with computers, I don't think my knowledge up there to decide if nothing will hinder the performance when put together. So here is what I am planning to get atm:
mobo: EVGA P55 FTW iP55
cpu: i5 750
cpu cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H50
gpu: Gigabyte GTX460 OC 1gb
psu: 750W Corsair HX750W
ram: 4GB CORSAIR 1066mhz
case: Xigmatek Midgard
screen: 23 inch led
First of all, I will not be overclocking like crazy atm, as I have never done that before. But I will probally get into it once I fully understand it.
So now the question is would this set up work without out any of the components dragging down the performance of others? Plus how would overclocking be with this rig?
Thanks in advance
