First ever build project

So would this be much better?

And if so, which pump top should I get?

Hi, I would go for a Liaing D5, but i am no expert & I would guided by what other members say. Cheers Glen

Oh the pump's going to be a D5 either way, just the first loop will have it built into the bay reservoir and the second will have it sitting seperatly, so that it goes FrozenQ Res, Bay Res, then the D5

No it's a single loop. I was suggesting what if i connect both the reservoir before the pump.

I would like to keep the FrozenQ if possible though :(

I know it's vain and purely for the looks but I think it looks great.

Hi, I am just starting a new build & also having two reservoirs, one bay & one tube res with LED's in the centre chamber. I am also doing it purely for looks. Yours sound like it should look really awesome. Cheers

Okay! parts are starting to come in one by one!
Again Special Tech has been an absolute STAR!

Watercooling loop should be finished by Wednesday or Thursday depending on when the final pieces arrive.

Stay tuned for photos!!

Hi Nasty Fighter, I'm just waiting on a couple of parts to come through and it should be finished :)

So far I have the watercooling loop tested and running, and everything is A-ok so far.

Haven't started on overclocking my build yet, that is going to be my next project.

Will post photos shortly :)

Just got confirmation from the Awesome people at Special tech that the rest of my parts are being sent today.

So expect photos on Wednesday! :)

the extra power connectors on the mb are just that... extra power. the 4pin helps the cpu if you oc, and the molex helps the pci lanes (gpu) if you oc

240 or 280 wouldn't be enough imo, even with a 60mm rad, better aesthetically and performance wise to go for 2 thinner ~40-45mm rads, this also gives you overhead for overclocking

generally airflow is front/bottom in and top/back out + you want to have more ins than out overall to maintain good internal air pressure. you ll notice were the fan filters are... get these for all intakes; filtered intakes + positive static case pressure = good airflow and clean components :)

EDIT: just realized when this thread was posted LOL, nvm me then
