hey everyone i'm going to build my first pc and i having a really hard time to find the right parts for my needs so i hope you guys can come with some good suggestions.

• I'm from Sweden
• My budget is around £1900
• Will also need a 24inch 1080p monitor
• new OS w7 or w8 need help to choose
• I'm going to use this pc to run games such as cs:go and bf 4
• would like to run at 1080p
• some over clocking (have never tried yet)
• and i need everything from case to harddrive

am grateful for any suggestions

well this should be a pretty solid build. you could swap the i5 for an i7 if you wanted and if you wait a bit get a 780ti with an aftermarket cooler, although a 780 is epic as well. price does not include the OS because that's pretty much personal preference right now. i like w7
USD prices, so this should be below budged but spending way more doesn't really get you that much more

I've put a few parts together here for you i've only spent 10 minutes on it as i have to go out in a second but you might want to change parts out or add parts as i am well under budget because this is a base on what you might want to build onto maybe put a R9 290x instead of the 280x? or maybe 2 R9 280's? or something Maybe 2 SSD's or a large one but if i was to build a computer without water cooling for a £1900 Budget today I would use the parts ive selected here and maybe add some bits

let me know what you think im sure people on here will tell you if i've made a mistake :) when i get back i will re look over it but for a quick response try working around that build :P

there is no big difference! at the moment! allot of games just use one core any way! stick with the i5 and try and upgrade things that will make a more noticeable difference like the GPU
i am now looking over the build!

battlefield 4 actually supports 8 cores some games support 4 old games 2 and horrifically threaded games like minecraft and some rts games only support 1 core.
There are allso games that have been pached to use more than 4 cores like bf3/farcry 3/crysis 3 multithreaded games are the future of gameing(and its about time)

About the OS:
However annoying windows 8 is, there is one big advantage. It is actually faster than Windows 7 (in most games). In my personal opinion, I do not care how terrible a product is. If it makes my PC faster, I will take it over something nicer to use. This is my reason to go with Windows 8. It even has faster boot times, because we all hate waiting for our PC to boot right?

with that SSD though he shouldn't have a boot time problem :P especially if he hibernates! windows 8 doesn't feels like its designed for a gaming computer it feels like its designed for touch screen :(
