well iv finally made the transision from 32 to 64 (well almost)
Hello peoples
Right i thought id post a little work log of my current build, iv done loads of 32 Bit builds but this is my first venture into 64 Bit, should be interesting.
Now... iv ordered my parts and im waiting for them to arrive those parts are as follows:
Crucial 1GB DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 Ballistix RAM
Foxconn 6150M2MA-KRS2H
Black 500W PSU - With 12cm Blue LED Fan
AMD Athlon x2 (Dual core) 256k L2 & 1MB L1 cache, 2.0Ghz x2 (4.0 Ghz)
Iv also got x2 80 GB Hard disks i had lying around here, sadly ATA but it saves me a good 80 quid making use of them.
I also have a Icute case which housed one of my old machines, its a fairly good case with a window etc, i will post pics once i eventually begin the build.
