Firestrike Ultra 4K Benchmark arrives monday

I've been trying for the last hour to break 3000 :D

Sooo close.. Trying to find the balance between core clock and memory. Also performance is dropping off at 1564Mhz, I can go slightly higher but the score drops :(

970@1558/2000
2500K@4.7Ghz
344.16 Drivers

3DMark Score - 2987
Graphics Score - 2963
Physics Score - 8067
Combined Score - 1588
Graphics Test 1 - 16.45 fps
Graphics Test 2 - 10.59 fps
Physics Test - 25.61 fps
Combined Test - 7.39 fps

It may be an idea to try again tomorrow using the same settings as you are using now. I find that about 5mins after I start up in the morning is the best time to squeeze a bit extra performance out of a PC. It is not just CPUs and GPUs that effect performance when they get warm.:)

I'll give that a try, hopefully Nvidia will have some new drivers out soon with a slight performance boost to help me out seen as 344.16 are only the Maxwell release drivers.

If I want to push mine any further I will need watercooling on my cards and a tweaked bios, as my cards will not go above +195 Core as they both need +75Mv to get to +195.

I am going to be upgrading my cards next year anyway so it's not something I want to do to my 780Ti's now, but if I had got a 4K monitor sooner then I probably would have watercooled them.

Sounds dirty :p

You should be able to break 3000 easy with an overclock on a 4770K and a 780Ti.

Not with my case, airflow is pretty poor. Turns out a metal and glass case with very little fan mounts isn't fantastic for benching

My 7970's at stock clocks and 3770K at 4.5. I might push it some this weekend and see how far I can get.

I'm using the 14.9 Beta 1 Driver

Looks about right for a 980@1500+

Shame, you would definitely break 3000 with a highish overclock on your GPU and CPU.

I can't break 3000, tried everything. If I higher my clocks, performance drops off and if I lower one to raise the other, performance drops off :(

Still, 2987 isn't bad for my set up. Hopefully with driver updates i'll be able to get those measly 13 extra points :)

I'm going to let my case cool off when I get home (trust me, its a thing...) and see what I can get. my card has potential and I think I've actually got a non crap i7 so I'll bench away :D.

Also trying to get a 7990 to go with my 280x for some cheap tri-fire benches for my AMD rig.

Gonna need some serious cooling for that!
