This should have a few GPUs sweating.

How does your set up run on 2k atm? what are you expecting?

I have been using 4K for a while now and it runs fine.

As to Firestrike Ultra it will be interesting to see what Futuremark use for settings as this will effect the workload as much as the 4K resolution.

I have run Firestrike Extreme @4K before and that puts a lot of strain on the PSU. The GPUs don't suffer from a CPU bottleneck so they spend most of the time @100% load and use a lot of watts.

I'll be giving it a go if I can get it to work with DSR, i'm not expecting much of a score though :p

I can already picture the last part of the bench where the fire and ice dudes are battling it out running at about 2-3fps :\

We must get Tom to ask for another of those 290x2 DEVILs by powercolor and make that review already :D
That benchmark will be just right for the cards

and i just ordered a new 1080p monitor too lol (the downstairs one got broken some how, exactly the same day i decided id go dual monitor up here again and to use a 19" spare on the downstairs rig

so i dont think i will be able to do the 4k test. i have a sneeky suspicion if i try it will tell me my monitor cant do it.
and if it didnt i think my 7870 would explode from the work load lol..

whilst we are here.

is there any form of promotion or disscount on any of the 3d mark banches "im aprticularly interested in 3dmrk 11 or the newest 3d mark, vantage not so much as i dont mind using the demo of that"

i know i can "aquire" them online for free but i like 3dmark so id like to buy the app(s) but i would like a discount too lol.

I might just be able to make it through with my 970 overclocked to 1588
If I divide your FPS by 4 it gives me an estimate as to what I will get with one card

Test 1 ~13 fps
Test 2 ~9 fps
Physics Test - not sure seen as it is CPU bound
Combined Test ~4 fps

It will be worth it to see how little of a score I get :p

You should do a bit better than you think.

Physics Test is the same whatever resolution you use you score the same.

Combined Test does scale with resolution but a big part of it is CPU grunt so extra cards only help a small amount.

I will be running a thread for it the same as the other ones I do.

Just ran it on mine using the Fire Strike Extreme Profile but set to 3840x2160 and here are the results, with Shadowplay turned off and a +150 Core +300 Vram overclock.

Need to run it again when it's properly released and see what is causing the "Time Measurement" to no be available.

Also need to sort my cpu cooling out as the H100i isn't cooling my 3930K @ 4.0ghz that well, even with 4 AP15's on it.

It is out! 3D Mark will update when you open it.

Does this only add proper 4k support?

Yes, but if you don't have a 4K screen it downsamples. (renders in 4K and then resizes the image to your res) You still get the same performance hit as if you were running 4K native though.

I am having my first break since this bench launched. It seems to be very popular with lots of people posing scores.

I've been trying for the last hour to break 3000 :D

Sooo close.. Trying to find the balance between core clock and memory. Also performance is dropping off at 1564Mhz, I can go slightly higher but the score drops :(
