Finally I have cut something

Ive been a member on here for a while and thought I would show my efforts in my first full case Mod. Like most I have added braided cables, AIO cooler and then finally went to custom water.

I have finally decided, after following with avid intrest and amazement the exploits of the well known modders on this site, to pick up a dremmel. My specs are based on a little gaming @1080, work and a bit of video processing.

The rig is a "buy when can/money/children allow type of deal" but does everything I need and enough on tap for a little into the future.

Rig Specs:

Corsair 700d Obsidian
inverted Asus Maximus VII Hero
4790k @ 4.6Ghz
GTX 670 in sli
16GB Kingston Hyper X Beast
Corsair AX850
512GB Samsung 840 SSD (OS & Main)
256GB Samsung 830 SSD (Steam/Games)
2TB WD RAID for all else.
2*Alphacool XT45 360mm Rads
EK waterblocks on CPU and GPU
EK hardline fittings with EK PETG tubing 10/12mm
Enermax Cluster Fans controlled by NZXT Grid+
DDC 18w pump in Barrow Reservior Base, Barrow thro fittings.
Ensourced made Paracord Extension Cables (for future PSU changes)
Logitech keyboard and MX518 Mouse.

Well hope you like, few little things to do still like patch paint a few scratches then have to mod a front case door, but thinking of just covering the whole area in cut acrylic panel easier and dont really want to cover too much up with great big door.

Give me your opinions, its all done by hand, not a laser or CNC machine anywhere close (thats the next one maybe).

p.s I only inverted because only have space on left of desk

looks nice fella although your inlet pipe on the cpu looks very wonky but going by your last pic you rectified it :)

Looks lovely, though I would like to see the case from a few more angles.

I barely even realized that that was a Corsair case, that is some good modding there.

Thanks, it really didn't help that the SLI bridge inlet and CPU outlet were offset. I tried to make the two pipes (into the Cpu and out to the SLI bridge) look parrallel looking head on, and in line when looking from side. Found it the hardest pipe to get right, to the detriment of about 600mm of pipe in the bin.

When I get the new acrylic sheet for the case door will try to take some more photographs in a better light and from more angles.

But you can tell it was an earlier case as it is built like a tank. The front alluminium panel took some working after it was cut with a dremmel to allow the acrylic inset panel. My friend has a newer corsair 750 and build quality is just not the same as the origonal Obsidians.

Beautiful and clean! Too many lights on the fans for me, but otherwise it's amazing.

The Enermax fans have LED inbuilt but when they are running slow the LED also dim. The remainder of the LEDs, (behind the mobo/ sli bridge/ cup) are all switchable from the front lower button.

Its so nice and tidy! I really like it, just a correction, if im not mistaking, you meant to write GB instead of MB on SSD size right? Other than that, please post more pics! Ur build is awesome!!

Oops, corrected now. will post some more pictures when next month when I get the acrylic sheet for the door. Will also try and borrow a better camera.
Thanks to all comments.
