Hey buddy. Are you well? Congrats with your new piece of art GPU. Hope the card servers you superb!

Just a question. Are you happy on your choice with the Evga card? You never had a look at the MSI GTX 780 Lightning hey?

Hi SteelSA, I'm good and you? Thank you and I'm happy with it so far. The reason I went with EVGA is because my previous card was EVGA and I never really had any problems with it apart from vibrating fans. But I was given a new replacement within a couple of days.

I did watch Tom's review on the MSI Lightning but haven't read the review or seen the charts posted on the site as yet. But I saw his review after I received my EVGA GTX 780. But I am happy with my choice and I don't regret it :)

Ok I see my friend. I am glad you are happy. I understand Evga is very good with their support. I am still kinda in 2 x minds. I want to upgrade but I can't make up my mind whether to take the MSI 780 Lightning or the EVGA ACX..........I have read some reviews but I want a review where they compare these 2 x cards head to head.......

I would happily compare with someone who will have an MSI Lightning card. I'm sure both are great cards and probably have some OC potential but as TTL says it's all down to the silicon lottery. If you can't wait until there is one to compare with then I wish you luck with your choice but I am sure you will not be disappointed with whatever card you go for.

Take the cheaper one.
