Finally have my 780!

QuietOne

always shouting
I collected it yesterday as my neighbour let me down. It's now installed in my system ready to go. I have only done Heaven, Valley and Resident Evil 6 benchmarks. Valley and Resident Evil 6 tests pushed my Core clock to 1124mhz at 65 degrees and it idles at 28 degrees.

So much better than my 580, in this heat it would idle around 35 to 40 and go up to 82 on full load. I will keep playing around and will hopefully post a review.

Congrats on the new card.

I have Heaven 4, Valley and RE6 benchmarks, if you let me know what CPU speed to use I can do some stock Titan runs on the same.

All my benchmarks were at 1080p, heaven and valley had everything maxed out apart from AA which was at x2. Resident Evil 6 Benchmark had everything maxed out. My CPU is running at 4.7Ghz.

what drivers are you using? i've installed 326.80 today and am getting worse fps by quite a bit. gonna reinstall 320.49

my valley score for comparison, 2 780s

74.9fps, 3134 points on 1440p

The 320.49 drivers are better for benching but along with the rest of the 320.xx family of drivers do have a few problems.

I've still got 320.49, just ran valley with my 780 superclocks (Titan Cooler) one was boosting to 1058 and the other 1071. Beautiful benchmark btw thanks for bringing it to my attention. And thanks for sharing the new card QuietOne it looks rather familiar apart from that sneaky 'ACX' logo.

That's a bigger lead than I expected from two Titans by the way the 780 has been reviewed. Is that with the stock Titan coolers? If so close to identical cooling I wonder how much of the difference in score can be attributed to the 3930k running x16/x16.

They are on water but at stock clocks this makes no difference to using the standard Titan coolers.

When I went from using the stock Titan coolers to water blocks this was reflected in higher overclocks being possible.

Provided you keep the Titans below 80c at stock the performance is identical with air or water. Sometimes when people review Titans in SLI they don't turn the fans up a bit to get rid of the extra heat and the cards end up throttling.

The two cards I used for the valley bench were running PCI-E 3.0 x16/x8 as I run 4 way sli normally but for this I turned off cards 2 and 4 on the mobo.

The single card I used for the other three benches was running PCI-E 2.0 x16 as I was trying to get as close as possible to what QuietOne was using.

On these benches the 2700k and 3930k clock for clock perform about the same.

If you want any more please let me know, some of the ones I have are Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs, Catzilla, Bioshock Infinite, Metro Last light, Hitman absolution and most of the 3Dmark ones.

I'm downloading and installing Bioshock now so I should be able to post results when done.
