Final Fantasy 14 or Not To Final Fantasy 14

hello every1

just wondering if anyone on here is playing the new Final Fantasy 14. I just want to know your opinion on the game. as for me i gave it to much expectation.

I have bought it but not played it yet, haven't had the time, though i did enjoy the beta testing

how well was your video card doing for the beta. i have the 4870 and when i check the CCC the activity is all the way up to 99%. even when i xfire the second card doesn't even take some of the stress away.i am on Wutai server and my name is Valos Kor. hit me up if you decided to come to wutai

I plan on playing FFXIV in a month. I actually decided to build a new computer just for the game or at least that's my reasoning to myself on why I am building a new computer

. I'm hoping that it will support crossfire in a month. I got a X6 3.4Ghz proc and 2 Radeon HD 5870's. I plan to overclock and see how well it goes. If you decide to play let me know what server you jump on and I will do the same. (Maybe Wutai? with silvermane)

I have read a lot about the controversy of FFXIV. Do you know why he hated it? Most conversations I've seen have been "I'm lazy so I hate the game" and "I'm 14 and want to reach level 50 in a week so I hate the game". Never the less I'd like to know his thoughts on it so I can take into account why he hates it.

I still haven't gotten round to playing it yet, but from experience playing the beta i still think it as a good game

I've heard it is all hype and no show.

I am going to try to get into EQ2 though, I used to play World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, and Fallen Earth. And, when I was 12 or 13 I used to play Runescape

, everybody hated me since I had level 95 Woodcutting and made money so easily.

i been playing the game since the collectors addition was release. i got to say that there are still issues that the game has and need to be worked on. me coming from FF11 there are things that SE should keep from FF11 and just ported to FF14. SE probably has never heard of the KISS method "Keep It Simple Stupid." don't get me wrong i am not calling SE developers idiots but, somethings are better left alone.

I can think of a lot of reason why he probably hated the game.

- No AH (auction house)

- retainer system is botched

- spend most of the time crafting

- leve (instances) reset after 36 hours

I go home Nov. 1st and my computer will be waiting there for me to put together (and I also need to get internet hooked up) so hopefully by November 10th I'll have everything up and running and some time to start playing.
