Feedback required: OC3D Shopping

Hi Guys,

Ever since the launch of the new website we've been working with a price comparison company called skinflint to bring an enthusiast-orientated shopping section for OC3D to life. The progress so far can be viewed here, but what I'm after is some feedback from you guys on exactly what you like/dislike about it and how you think it could be improved.

Be honest - as we want to make sure it looks and acts its best before we go live with it.

I think the main headers should be bold and in black and slightly bigger making it easier for us oldies.

Aside from a little prettification, it's actually spot on.

It works. And works quickly. Which is more than can be said for 99% of the sites out there.

I think it's needs a slight simplification, mainly as it looks a little cluttered

I think the bottom part with 'Top 10' etc should be seperated slightly with different font or a border or something.

Seconded on the bold (perhaps slightly bigger too?), for the headings

Perhaps highlight the Product Search a little more? It's there and in the right place but as it's in grey it doesn't jump out at me, and frankly that's the bit you'd use the most. Maybe make the search a bit more of a 'feature' of the page?

Slight bigger pictures for the header sections?

Make the 'display this page for' section flags rather than text? Or a combo? A lot of sites simply have a flag and that works for me....

Product searches are quick though, which is cool :)

erm, the top bar (home | hardware | software| etc) all seems too all link too shopping.overclock3d.net/rest of url =P That is all the links except the forums

Because it's all a test :p, it's not live yet.

Agree with Kempez, looks a tad cluttered.

Could you span it across the bottom?

Meh, I know it's a test, I can actually read=P

As for reviews in foreign languages, any chance they can have a filter option as well as google translate - some of the translations of the more technical words can be interesting! (e.g. interested Mindfactory purchases ... <- ????)

how is the list made up is it wre the supplyer pays you to be added to the list or do u genarate it from rssfeeds or XML leads from web shops.

I like it... Although, I would agree with Kempez that it's a little cluttered and could do with a bit of simplification.
