Faulty DP Cables or something

O/cing my Asrock K6 and going well. Prime 95 did quite well and was getting a comfortable 5000 with good temps. Moved the case, its on a sort of skate board so its just pushing it slightly to get it out of the way.

Then started DOOM and after about 60m seconds the screen would just fail, lost signal and would do a reboot and it would work but everytime I went into DOOM it failed.

Well jiggled the card to make sure it was solid and locked in and same with the DP cable but at both ends . Also disabled Nvidia drivers for the monitor and now its working flawlessly

The card is an old 980 and still does a good job .......

Default your BIOS to stock speeds, then retest and see what happens. If no errors, then your OC was bad. Of course you might have damaged your DP cable while moving around the PC, it can happen, but I'm not certain those two things have anything to do with each other.

I gave it a good 60 minutes with Prime95 and it didnt miss a beat and it failing in Doom only happened after moving the Computer............

what happens when your o/c fails ? does it turn the pC off or what ?

edit: and I more worried about the connection not been solid in the DP. Maybe a coincidence
