Faster hard drive? Do i have a crap one?

Hey

My current drives are 7200.10s with the apparently bad aak firmware

Just did a hdtach as i think my hdds are really lagging performance. Is this any good?

1) random access 13.5ms

average read 64.9mb/s

second drive was pretty much the same

do i need a better testing tool?

if i was going for new hard drives I would get a samsung F1 terabyte drive and a high speed OS/apps hdd for the other..altho the raptors look expensive!
