fan controller with hdd mount

Permafrost

Compo Whore
hi i'm new to the forum

Does anyone know of a 5.25 Fan Controller that has a bracket behind the controller for a 3.5" device?

^Think he wants to remove his HDD cages and keep his Hard drive in a 5.25" bay, but he wants to use only 1 bay for a fan controller AND HDD (Or other 3.5" device)

But no mate sorry, you might want to look at a scythe bay rafter or anything and make some cuts so that you can place your fan controller in front of it though?

thanks for your fast replay! also love the videos and got the nzxt switch 810 took out the hdd cages for a h100, but tubes was short, so i put the hdd's on the 5.25 bays but the fans are a bit loud... and yes i'm total newbie at this

i thought it would be different and someone told me it was better to have more air coming out on the case then going in...

Its better to have balanced airflow, if anything more air going out is worse as it creates negative air pressure and sucks all the dust in through all the little gaps. :p

Why didnt you fit the H100 in the roof.....?

As for the fan controller and bracket .... no.

AFAIK that's right. But you can you use a 'fan controller and bracket' together, I've done it.As long as the controller is shallow you can fit the 3.5 bracket inside. If you use the 5.25 to 3.5(decoupled) style in the image below you can push it tighter so its more like 5.22 and slide it in side of the fan controllers 5.25 bracket. At the other end you can use a washer to make up for the thickness.
