It should yes. There's a file checked on Steam in game properties/Local files/Verify integrity of game cache. That'll update missing/broken files

1st time I had this game I found it buggy as hell.

After a while of not bothering with it, and after re-jigging the gaming pc, I installed it again, with patches/updates/mods, cos so many people raved about it and it was ---- less buggy....

Massive tip is to save the game as often as possible.

I've played through this game twice one two different occasions and I never had any buggy issues or crashing.

Yea... i while ago i got a game that would crash all the time on my old PC, so i got used to psam f5

And forgot to mention the launcher always crashes the first time is this also a known problem or does Fallout not like my computer?

i found the best way to play the game is to not play the storyline until it is very important, because the further along the storyline you go, the harder the AI become, and more buggy it becomes...

in both games (F3 & NV) - i went around killing bugs and looting stuff, to get my skills up high. i stayed clear of all dialect characters (to stop the accidental killing of a future-needed actor), unless i had to.

it was only after my skills were as far as they could go, i did the storyline. ONE SHOT - ONE KILL

the game was alot easier to do, and the chances of bugs happening were greatly reduced

BTW: this is the way i played "the elder scrolls" as well

I have played for the last 2½ hours now, and no crashes yet (HURRAY), might have been a buggy quest or scripted event or whatever

Ofc i had to alt-tab our...

Now i have to relaunch the game... fail

I used to get crashes initially, but for whatever reason, after a few crashes they became less frequent, until I could play fine without crashes.

This was exactly the same with GTA San Andreas as well.

I think that's a succesful solution I used. In BULLETSTORM, AA above x4 makes bright green and red colour problems

The first game i played on my new rig (see sig) was Bulletstorm, i had the setting cranked up to max, and i thought it was odd that dark areas appered green

thats weird the game is buggy but was never that bad and i ran a heavily heavily modded install, try http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/today.php

that has loads of cool mods and if you look at the top corner they have mods for fallout 3 and the whitcher/ dragon age

try loading an earlier save sometimes that helps and dotn use the quick save function they are notrious for causing problems

I am well aware of the ***Nexus.com sites, this is where i get my mods (When they are avalable for [X] game)

Altho i do like their old layout better
