FAH GPU Tracker V2

Oo guys not sure if this helps for anyone but i am not having any problems (as of yet) i am running the SMP apart from the tracker,

so for the CPU just the SMP console and for the GPU's the tracker

EDIT K had one little flaw and that was it refused to start a WU had to delete the work folder and it was fine again...

same problem with the gpu ID again this morning, changed to 4 and even that wouldn't have it, deleted the config file then restarted etc & it worked but the new config file didn't show name/team passkey etc

Back to the old tried & tested method's of running F@H that always works!

I had that issue too. It failed to recreate the config file correctly after I deleted it.

I always save a copy of my config file and start shortcuts for SMP so when ever changing or re installing the client I just paste the copies in the install folder and it's already to go.

I don't think so...I lost a bigadv the other day using the tracker.

Aaa thanks matey , no need to change that part then

I know that the linux under windows prog(virtual) does save at points ..but i never got it setup correctly..

Another reason why I still use Console for SMP losing a Big Unit is far more frustrating than losing a gpu wu

Yea agree especially ones it is at 85% +

I only use the tracker for my GPU's SMP console...

Stanford should have someting like lets say you can send(uploud) the FAH log file with what you have done and that you then get those hard earned points for it ,

they only have to do this with BIGadv WU's

are maybe this is the reason behind the tracker freezing as im trying to run the smp and the gpu3 from the tracker problem i have now is im currently 16% through a smp wu do i leave it to run n hope it completes or stop it n restart it with the console? the tracker ran all night on the gpu3 on a single card froze on both cpu n gpu so by way of illimination ive tried them singley gpu ok smp seems ok so far been running for just over 8hrs completes in 1d 18h 55m do i risk it also is this common to take so long for a wu ? new to f@h btw atm 37k ppd is this the norm? 4.2ghz i7 950 ram@ 2000mhz gtx460 sli

you have to change settings in tracker. setup>configure>use specified numbers of CPU cores>type 7 cores to use.

Apply>stop all clients>start all clients.

had the same problem.when also using cpu and gpu,the gpu have to use 1 core. After this it should be 24/7 folding.

PPD it depends ,which WU you are folding,WU 2684 can take 72hours and as low as 20.000ppd.

right now im folding 45.000ppd at WU2686 on the cpu(i7-950@4.2ghz) and WU6806 on my gtx460(900@1800@1030).

cpu=32500ppd.gpu=12500ppd

Hope this will be any help.

Happy folding
