K this is my last BumpUp post or it gets one BIG mess,

but i have a extra (forgot about it) molex connector for my GPU's its between the PCI-E slots do i need to connect that
blink.gif

i thought that was for overclocking purpose ?

Hmm the manual certainly says so if you want clean power to the GPU's
huh.gif
EDIT didn't do anything good..

GOD@^!&!* its now doing it at default again, stupid CRAP !

forget it ,, i need a GTX260 this is just getting ridiculous!!

Now i just can't Fold with this POS rig

Yes, use the molex between the PCIE connectors. It provides extra juice to the chipset/PCIE connectors when using LOTS of cards!

Oops sorry

Shame is it didn't help

Ones i don't touch my windows it just (All the F@H clients) runs fine !? most of the times browsing it locks up ,

PSU is up to the task as it also happens with just one single GTX460...

I think i pretty much tried everything now, nothing seems to help at the moment...

time for a new mobo or get back to a GTX260

Just freaking frustrating i can't get this to work properly....

Hmmm might go back to XP OS ..

http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=183075&st=0

Of course i am going to fidddle with it again but i am out of options to be honest...

I'd try a different bios Mr Ray. Either the Asus DirectCU or the Gigabyte F3 revision bios. Or if you want to rip all your 460 bios with GPUZ I'll mod them for you.

I am getting to the point that i don't think much will help me with this issue
sad.gif

already tried 3 different GTX460's in the board and not one of the cards let me overclock..

and one problem with flashing the GPU bios is that ones i am doing this and my rig locks up , i even have a bigger problem ..

if nothing works can't you just rma the mobo and geta decent one?
boxing.gif

This happens with a lot of mobo brands, see SOA_RRU's posted link...

al tho see post below not in my MSI board but it can be any other person with the same mobo does have this problem

Also, test each card in your other rig. That'll make sure it's not the cards.
smile.gif

Done in my MSI P55-GD65 all the cards work fine but it only has 2 PCI-E slots
sad.gif

so at the end the best to do is get a GTX260/280/285/295 for PCI-E slot one
unsure.gif

Nah, flash the bios one at a time in DOS.
smile.gif
That'll fix it.

Oki Doki i'll try , could you please post both BIOS's ?

i can't find it (them)
wub.gif

Also need a USB stick.. don't have one...

BTW how did you Flash the card NVFLASH ?

Also what makes you think this will work ?

as i don't feel like Flashing the cards with my good luck as of lately
