F@H Client V7 beta released

If this looks to be promising I will start a changing over to the new V7 client......

Was quite easy to configure and for me it works, however I'm getting that stupid 10119 WU that takes ages to complete.

Doesn't look as slick as the GPU Tracker but if you are swapping from the Console client this definitely is a big step forward

If you change into expert mode (top left corner) you can select a tab called log. There is the log text file

I can see that, but where does F@H Client V7 keep this log file. I want to direct my Windows Sidebar F@H Monitor to the folder containing the FAHlog.txt.

It's puts it in a seperate folder outside of the main directory called FHdata which should be in C:\program files or where ever you installed the client

Ahh, I installed mine on another HDD that must be why it didn't go in ProgramData it just put it in the same folder I installed the client.

You should be able to as they use the same WUs, but to be safe I wouldn't switch until your current WU is finished.

Well,have to try v7 with fahcore16 very soon again,now radeon 5850 and 5870 can be bought for 110 to 140£.Oc`ed they are faster than most new 68xx gpu`s.

Last try with v7 was

I'm holding off on v7...I rely too much on HFM and its web stats and email reporting features. Until HFM is updated I think I'd rather just stay where I am.

It seems my 6870's perform reasonably well under this client but they reach temps of 75-80C and my room is too hot as it is so i`ll wait till i get the Gelid Icy vision for one of them tomorrow or friday (when its delivered) and if the temps are 15-20C lower then i`ll get them folding too - i dont pay the electric bill as its an AIO bill to my landlord
