Extremely loud

I have 6 case fans
Stock cpu cooler
A sapphire R9 270x vapor
and It makes the loudest noise out of all components.

When running Fifa 14 menu the gpu fans go all noise but in game its a bit quieter but not enough for me. In windows I only hear the top two case fans but not even that loud only when I go near and there's no noise in the house
What can I do?

RIG
i5 4460k, 8gb ram, 550w lite active Thermaltake psu 6 fans.

Any suggestions or comments will be highly appreciated.

Yep a custom profile is probably the best idea unless you want to change the cooler. The only noise mine gives off is those darn noisy 80mm fans on the sabertooth boards... (turned off now though to be fair)

I won't try that anytime soon. I will download it and see what happen in game because that's the only problem I have

What is the 4 pin connector for? Can't I hook that up to my motherboard fan connectors? and control it?

I hate them. But even disabling them in bios they still switch on during intense games like BF4.

Almost tempted to remove them completely.

What are the temperatures like? That might explain the noise. Honestly I think it could just be the PSU not the gpu.
also its technically a 4460 not a 4460k . Its not unlocked therefore not a k.

Now how do you explain that I can overclock and change voltage and everything?

In Intel extreme tuning utility its:
Cpu: max 44*C (currently 31-32*C) fan @ 997-1000rpms
Sys: 30*C

Ok if you've overclocked it (and not just set the voltage) what Ghz is it running? turbo boost doesn't count. Also locked means locked multiplier, not locked voltage.

I don't know overclocking (i didn't overclock it) but i can change that in bios. and that turbo stuff only take it from 3.2Ghz to 3.4Ghz. I overclocked my old pc but that was with settings I got online so i don't know how to do it on my own.

what is multiplier? how do I check?

I don't know the gpu temp because in the desktop I hear nothing and when i "Alt + tab" out of the game it goes silent immediately. How do I check the temp.?

And if it was the psu won't it always be loud because the psu fan speed don't change? (correct me if i'm wrong)

if you download GPU-Z then when it is launched you an get it to measure the max temperature while you are gaming.

How do i run something like "gpu-stress" any programs?

running cpu stress again and max temp is 70*C (avg 60*C) fans 1575rpm and the fans is loud.

gpu is currently 29*C fans 20%

yeah as long as you run it 1080p with all the settings maxxed.

Max gpu temp.: 77*C
Fan speed: 61% (2909rpm)
gpu load: 98%

I don't know what to do. Could it be the game? or a combination of gpu and cpu?

This morning i installed GTA IV and the pc was extremely loud and I thought of something.
This weekend I'm unplugging all the case fans and running Fifa to see if it isn't maybe the two top exhaust because the sound is mostly coming from there.

I'll plug in fans one by one and it's time to label them to with the MSI stickers

I just unplug them and leave em be, now haha.

The reason I took the thermal armour off was to make sure it gets cool enough, but it seems to be pretty much the same on or off.. So I painted it white and popped it back on XD
