Here's an interesting question for you guys, lets say i wanted a external power switch to turn my pc on and off because i couldnt access the power button on my case easily where would i find one?

Preferably want a decent looking switch with a cable roughly around a meter to connect to the mobo header any ideas?

Thanks for any help

Some boards have a bios option to boot with your keyboard. Maybe that's something for you?

Looked into that but as far as i can tell you need a PS2 connector and the z77 saber doesnt have one  if its possible on a usb keyboard and someone knows how to do that then that would be perfect...

In theory any switch would do, only need to connect the two motherboard pins together. I booted an old PC with a paperclip when the power button broke lol

You could even have a remote on your keys or something.

You can just get any push-to-make switch and connect it to the power switch terminal on the motherboard.

What about a remote control? I know its doable because my old Antec Micro Fusion could do it. You have to splice into the 24 pin so that the IR has power...

Pick any switch and make the cable.... simples.

i wanted it to look good =P my current idea is getting a vandal switch and milling a hole in a small black acrylic block and fitting it in there or something like this i will have to see where my tiny amount of modding skills can get me
