Evil Within PC Patch brings 60FPS options

A new patch has been introduced for the PC version of Evil Within to allow the cap of 30FPS to be moved to 60 and take away the letterbox style black bars.

Might re install it then. I was HATING the black bars!

You can disable the black bars anyway, I'm watching the playthrough with Markiplier and he got rid of them.

Just because the whole MasterRace turned against them and that's not good for PR at all bethesda said "Whatever, here's your bloody 60fps"

I do think this whole 60fps thing is getting ridiculous...

Not because I don't agree but I just can't by the life of me understand why Sony and Microsoft happily released "Next Gen" consoles that just don't have the oomph to do this stuff??

It's not like 1080p is in its early life cycle. It's been around for years now and all PC gamers and hardware guys could see that the GPU in the consoles were pretty sub par.

There's a reason these are the first consoles that have made Microsoft and Sony a profit on launch as opposed to previous gens where they often made losses on the consoles

I liked the whole console concept untill PS3 and Xbox360
The fact that the CPU in the APU unit is so weak,(The power of the GPU unit is somewhat equall of an hd7770 which can handle 1080p) screams that sony and microsoft and AMD knew about it but they chose to go with it which to me it sounds like 0 effort/innovation on AMDs side and cheapyness on MS and Sony's side.
