I don't think we have one of these, so for all you footie fans here it is.

Just wanted to say, HOW GOOD ARE THE DUTCH!!! Stunning match against France, I thought they played well against Italy! Ohhh lets bring on...(ip dip do) Robben and Van Persie. Great depth.

Also, lol @ Malouda! Even wrestles kuyt and he still doesn't stop him scoring.
 
think i may have to nip to the bookies tomorrow and have a little bet on Holland after tonights performance,that was some of the best football I have seen ever!!
 
Before the tournament, when they had arguments in camp, they were at like 40-1 to win Euro 2008. I wish I had put a bet on them, then!
 
Havent seen enough of it yet tbh, but Portugal, Spain and Holland look very good from what I have seen.

Other than that, u gotta look out for some of these teams with great togetherness, and maybe not too maybe stars. Croatia for example.

(oh Germany played well :rolleyes: lol) (German fan >.<)

I bet on Holland before the tournament and pulled out Portugal in my sweepstake at work. I fancied Holland a lot before the tourny started just from looking at their team and watching quite a lot of their players all season. Snijder was a class act at Ajax before he switched to Madrid and Van Der Vaart has shown so much promise for a few years before buggering it all up by living it up and then got flogged to Hamburg.. Anyway he seems to be finding his form again now.

Hope Holland win it.. Good team and I don't dislike that country!

Or Portugal of course... Sweepstake!
 
There's been some awesome games this tournement and Holland and Spain have been the highlight so far, with the Croats being in third place for me.

I think Portugal have been playing pretty awesome too to it will be an interesting tournement

I feel asleep when they were 2 nothing down (or was it 2-1) - anywho, I couldn`t believe what I missed when I woke up and saw the news.

Jet-lag is a beetch.

Oh btw, Germany are looking really awful. Odds are they should get spanked by Portugal... but u know what happens when the Germans play football

They are very jammy! But Portugal don't have a good number 9, so if Germany shut out the midfield playmakers e.g. Deco, Ronaldo etc, then they have a chance if Podolski plays well. Gomez's miss was just something else. I am sure it was harder to miss then score.
 
All I can say is that he didn`t want to score - simple as that. Didn`t go for the header after or anything.

I don`t see Gomez starting again tbh.
 
I don't see Gomez ever playing for Germany again :P

But to be fair how many chances does Luca Toni need? He did score 39 goals for Bayern Munich, but I wonder what is conversion rate of chances to goals was.
 
Excellent progression. Damn shame they got some players missing for the German game tho. Be better to have both sides full.

Can`t believe Croatias penalties.
 
missed it tonight,but i heard they did the rabbit from the hat trick again!!how the hell do they do it??
 
wow and another excellent quarter, with Russia kicking out Holland fair and square!!!

That was one amazing game, sorry for the Dutch but congrats to Russia... the magic of Gus Hiddinks again ;)
 
Can`t believe Russia. Can`t believe Holland too lol.

Russia were like sloppy-classy with their passing and finishing. Don`t know what it is about them, but they`re good whilst giving me the awkward feeling.

Some good refereeing to in that game. Although this yellow card business could be set to topple the semis.
