im trying 4 Ghz again i got the multi at 18.5 and the fsb at 217 and vcore at 1.53 but still 5 our of the 6 workers in prime have errors temps are around 38 under half load, windows seems stable. is this cpu incapable at going past 3.8?

managed to get it to 4Ghz with voltage 1.48 but only with load line calibration ratio is 16.5 and fsb is 243 the temps fluctuate loads but never go above 55 even after 1 hour of prime is this safe to say its stable now?

cores seem to hover around 44 45 Celsius

thanks i take it load line calibration is ok to leave on i just read some places that it can cause voltage peaks but with out it i cant OC past 3.8 with it i can get 4.1 but it starts getting hot.

looking at my sig is everything ok the voltage is at 1.48 not 1.5

if everything runs fine (under load) - then it is

you could try lowering the volts until you get BSOD (or non-boot) - but TBH, that's just being picky!!!

JOKE: if it aint broke, fix it 'til it is!!! - lol
