While true, the length of the PCB is irrelevant to the size and fitting of a waterblock. Though I am suspicious of a GTX 680 waterblock fitting on a GTX 670.

i think also because some of the RM chips are on the back of the pcb whereas they arent on a 680 it may also not fit properly

There are a few 670s that use the stock 680 pcb like the Gigabyte 670 OC, the Zotac 670 AMP! and the EVGA 670 FTW. Those can fit the EK 680 waterblock according to EK. But for example Koolance says their block wont fit so try this at your own risk.

Sorry guys my bad, I meant to put 670's with the larger pcb >_< If you look at the listings for most 680 waterblocks it will say For 670/80 Graphics cards.

Have seen rumours that XSPC are working on one, and there's a Heatkiller one here that looks ok-ish.

i would like for alphacool to make one as i have used all alphacool components and would be nice to keep it all tying in together!

jesus christ i hope they start putting stand offs on the actual block this time around instead of making you stick them on with thermal paste, just installed my motherboard blocks and it looks like it was made for someone with 3 hands.

That seems weird. I've been under the impression that they've had standoffs on their blocks for a while now.

after checking out pbaines 680 block im staying clear of EK, even more so with the level of customer service theyve provided

there are other forums with similar issues on GTX680 and the mani has again blamed
the usage of other than specified coolants/additives within 3months in operation.
another fail in CS and manufacturer support. understandably they made many hundreds
of CPU/GPU blocks and @ 2% return thats still is a shite lot of units. and now to
distance themselves from the old guard to the "improved" a new mask has appeared.

i have to say it again, "you can put lipstick on a pig and it still is a pig."

My two cents: EK lost a customer; the bridges between the chips will not fit a rampage IV extreme as far as I can tell, without getting a blanking plate. That added to the fact the old style blocks (purchased about 4 months ago) are no longer available meant that I would have spent well in excess of what the competitors are charging.

Did they bother to think: Well, enthusiasts buy these cards, will they fit enthusiast motherboards without needless complication and changing the location of other cards?
