Hi everyone,
Yesterday I did some leak testing for my watercooling setup and I noticed that the CPU block was leaking a bit. Nothing to major, but any leaks has to be solved before I trust it in my PC!
Now I did change the jet plate for the LGA1155 version and I was pretty carefull with the O-Rings not to make an mistake.
Now the problem could be that I just didnt screw the block tight enough when reassembling the block. Would it be wise to screw the 4 screws as tight as possible with the provided Allen (hex) key or would that damage the block? Also next to that how tight should the block be screwed on to the motherboard as I wanted it as tight as possible (without using any tools). If over tightening could that cause the leakage?
Thanks in advance!
