EK Supreme limited flow

Could anyone shed some light on my EK supreme CPU water block?

I am doing a (long overdue) rebuild on my PC and I've removed all the watercooling components with a mind of flushing them through to remove any deposits etc. When trying to flush through the CPU block I'm finding that the flow seems quite restricted. Does anyone know what kind of flow rate I should be expecting? I can fill up a tube with liquid attached to one port and it slowly dribbles out of the other one. I'd have thought it should be a lot better flowing than that. If I have a build up of deposits inside the block, what can I do to clear it?

Cheers

Used to have a supreme and never had any issues with it really.

Did gunk up and I used to clean it with water and a toothbrush.

Just a case of undoing the allen key bolts, make sure when re assembling you get a good seat on the seal.

Bear in mind liquid will dribble out as its not under any significant pressure.

All new blocks seem to block if the TDS raises in the water cooling fluid your using all so inhibitors are a major problem.

The inhibitors wich haven't been tested properly seem to brake apart at a molecular level and then block the system.

I took it apart and found that inside there is a very fine grill which had become quite blocked with sediment. A good clean later and it's good as new, flowing much better! I'd recommend anyone replacing the coolant in their system do the same as given the size of the grill I'm not surprised they get blocked!
