EK has released a nev version of their EK-XLC Predator 240 all in one water cooling units with a Quick Disconnect for easy expansion to a CPU + GPU water cooling loop.
I don't like that you have to remove the back plate from the socket to install it. Not sure if this is something you have to do with all EK blocks?
Yes the disconnects are UAF but if you don't have a window it's less of an issue. I also read somewhere that they're supposed to be the bees knees but I'm not sure why they couldn't make them black.
I quite like the look of the res/pump/rad combo so if you have the room it would be nice. Of course if you're spending that much then the questions remain about whether to go full custom loop or not.
I saw a review of the 360 & one of their QDC blocks on an R9 Nano and it looked like a lot of excess tubing. So if you're OCD or very much after a minimalistic design then I don't think this would be for you. Also it won't do SLI with the quick disconnects you'd have to replace the tubing and connectors which is no huge deal but looks a bit fiddly to fill the loop.
Overall though I'd still consider this to replace my H100. Toss up between this and the Fractal. (My current case has no window and is limited to 280mm rads)
Disclaimer - I've zero practical water cooling experience so this is all just conjecture on my part but I'm guessing I'm the type of person they're looking at selling these to. Like a half way house between AIO and Full throttle water cooling.
