EK Predator 240 vs Corsair h115i

If you run them both at 100% they are both loud tbh.

Both also benefit from fan changes

If it was me Id favor the H110i GT or> the H100i V2 (both link compatible)

The predator needs a fair bit of room and setting up really well. The vadar fans have a fair bit of motor noise too

Ok thats good to know I will look at the corsair ones I will be using an Air 540 case and would prefer to mount it in the top so my front fans can focus air on the GPU as much as possible.

Is there any coolers you would recommend for the 5960X that would allow for some OC headroom

Apparently this is the king of "AIOS"

It's 3c cooler than the EK at idle and 2c cooler at load. That may not sound much but it's enough for it to be class leading.

Swiftech sure knows their stuff. But as with the former version, this one is prone to leaks as well due to the acrylic reservoir. They already had issues with it cracking due to bad assembly from the factory. But then again EKWB seem to have leaking issues again too, this time from the rotary fittings on the Predator.

Swiftech's unit is quite a bit cheaper than EKWB's, however the low watt DDC pump on the Predator makes it extremely quiet.

Edit: Guys just keep in mind, if you install either of these units: Make sure your home insurance covers electrical and water damage.

Or just use something non conductive :) I had quite a major leak with mine, but nothing was hurt or damaged.

Non conductive fluid doesn't stay non conductive for long.

I feel the warning was more directed at the aio units specifically due to their tendecy to leak.

Actually the Swiftech block looks fine and can be rgb lit. I should know i have 5 of them in front of me. That's 5 full AIO sets. The only issue with the switch is it cannot be mounted vertical only horizontal.
