EK Monoblock for z170 on the z270 Gigabyte Gaming 7?

Has the VRM configuration changed between the Z170 and Z270 Gaming 7? I would like to know of the EK Monoblock (listed only for the Z170, so far), would fit on the Z270 board.

a) Thanks for posting! Been watching your videos for years.
b) I know that you've physically had both boards in your hands. There's a significant difference between the VRM, and other physical structures, on the two boards?

I was going to buy the block and see if I could make it work, but if you're confident that it won't, then I will not bother.

I got some news that we'll have a monoblock for this Z270. I just don't have an ETA yet.

I heard the same, from an EK rep, but no actual timeline. Just, that it would be 'soon'
