You can never have too much PSU, that's my motto.
The reason i got such a big PSU is just to future proof really. im not sure what i will be doing that will take that amount of power, but now i know that i can

The carlsberg went into me and scott as our power supply while we were building
And as for the stock cooler, i am currently saving for a Noctua NH-D14. i work at mcdonalds tho so ill be another year or so ;P

Two overclocked 580's would probably use more than 850W

I'm gonna order my D14 this week me thinks, along with IC Diamond 24carat compound, that alone is £80> then I need a case & graphics card. That's another £300-£400...

The NT-H1 compound that comes with the D14 is more than good enough for anything really, mate

If you want the best of the best thermal compound, the IC Diamond is the way to go
