Dual moniters

Hey every1, just got a little quick question,

my bro got a new lcd, so i wanted to hook his CRT as a secondary moniter, so i can like play on my LCD, and just surf the web or do other stuff on the other.

few things, when i set it up, i set it to horizontal span, but when i open games, it opens on the first one, and the second one turns off, the CRT

and also, the CRT is pretty far away, so would it be possible to run 1024x768 on the CRT and 1280x1024 on the LCD?

yeah, diff resolutions are possible, i havee 1280 x 1024 on my monitor and 1360 x 768 on my lcd. Although when playing games, it alters the lcd.

could u tel me how to do it? i dont no how.. and i have tried fiddling

just right click on your desktop, settings tab. click on the screen and alter the resolutions.

Forgot to point out that i dont use ati (in my case tools) or nvid (in your case) to alter resolutions ect.

the lcd is my primary, whenever i open games, it opens on the LCD, but the secondary, CRT, turns off well standy, but i want it to stay on so i can see like my itunes or w/e

i think i no what the problem is, there is 4 options, single, close, hor span, ver span

i want the first to be games, and the second to just be an extra, not really span..
