Dual H100i for dual cpus WS

I am building a new WS and selected two H100i for cooling the dual cpus. As on the mob (Asus ZPZ9PE-D8 WS) there are only 2 cpu fan headers and i have four fans connectors what is the best solution to connect these fans?

Thank you

Connect your fans directly to the psu, use 7v reduce cables if you like it a bit quieter.

Use the H100i fan connectors....

Id be interested to see how you mount those coolers in a case though.

FYI H100i's on Xeons are stupid overkill, I had 12 Core Xeons running on a Corsair H75 each and the temps never hit 70c after a week of F@H

Will upload some photos on the forum after I'm finished. I went for those as the WS will be on the go 24/7 rendering 3D stuff and i thouth the '40' cores (E2670v2) will be heating up at 100% for a whole week.

btw your videos are awsome. thanks for all the help.

Tom, I have another thread opened '' Need Help on standoffs ...'' will it be possible to give me your opinion how to tackle this as I cannot add standoff screws to the case and it is touching to the back of the MB.

Thank you.

What I ended up doing is that the fans of the radiator connected with the Y splitter to the H100i pump. Like this fan speeds can be adjusted from the corsair link software.

Will see how it will work and continue experimenting with fan speed and noise levels.

The H100i and Corsair link does good fan control. If you don't want to mess with Link another pricey option would be to pick up a Aquaero 6 fan controller. They are a really nice piece of tech that you can do a lot with.

Will consider it as the corsair link is not working correctly with my motherboard.. i think.. the H100i fans are not showing and they are connected.

I contacted Corsair re this slight issue and we see from there.

Thanks

Have you updated the firmware on the H100's? Id get one running correctly first although Im not sure if LINK was designed for two units......

Might want to remove the USB cable from one and get it running correctly on one first.

If you do flash the firmware only have one connected at a time and make sure you shutdown to disconnect one and reconnect the other.

Is that the beta? The nonbeta does not work with Windows 8. The down side with the beta is it messes with the lights, every time you cold boot or restart, it resets the LED's after you update the firmware.

Hi Everyone. Just to give a slight update on this thread. After contacting Corsair and tried several different corsair link versions (all of them were sent by corsair) I found one that works smoothly with dual CPU.. its the V2.6B.

Thanks
