Dual display issues

So here's a link to all the info on my card first off.. I know it's another review site but it has the most comprehensive information so please excuse that: http://www.vortez.net/articles_pages/asus_hd6950_2gb_directcu_ii_review,5.html

That being said you will notice a couple of things, this does not have the dual bios switch, but a switch for dual/dvi or dvi/hdmi.

I have the switch in the correct spot, and cannot get the card to pick up my second monitor at all.

Additionally, a follow up, the card has 4 hdmi inputs, however if you look at the close up of the hdmi ports in the site I linked they are not your typical female ports. Do I need a special cable to use these? Maybe I'm doing something completely wrong but I cannot figure out how to get a conventional HDMI cable to fit in the port.

**Update** I figured out the dual dvi issue, once the switch is in the correct spot you have to reverse the dvi hook ups on the back. (2) Becomes #1, and your original #1 because your dual link.

Though I'm still confused on the HDMI cables inputs.

those are disply ports mate not HDMI lol you will need a displyport to hdmi converter if you want to use them with an hdmi cable

Thanks for the clarification.

If at all possible mind linking to a cable that could be purchased that would work?

Just so I have an example to go off. It's just new to me.

This is what I've found: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...e=display_port_to_hdmi-_-12-270-278-_-Product

Is that correct?

No. You need an active display port adapter, this is the one I use for my 6950.
