Dual Core clocking

Just a very simple question for you guys! Im sure someone will know.

If I overclock dual does it overclock both cores or only one? :eh:

I swear foling is quicker on core one than it is on core 2. :eek:

Plus, System properties says one it at 2ghz and the other at 3ghz.

im pretty sure it will overclock both at the same. I think one of the new AMD chips will allow overclocking on individual cores.

That does seem a bit weird to me. :s

But I was just thinking that might just be the name of the chip...

For example in CPU-Z it is called Core 2 Duo e6400 @ 2.13ghz.

Bingo.

The chips stock speed is given after its name in a fair few apps, the the actual clock is displayed.
