Drivers randomly shut off

I overclocked my PC about a week ago and it was stable, no problems for about a week, but today it just randomly shut off. either there is no sound and no image at all, but the fans keep spinning or it turns off completely. it has nothing to do with load, it did that when i watched a video. I already reset the overclock, but still it shut off 3 times in the past hour.

Sounds like a power issue to me. What PSU are you using?

650W rasurbo crap. PSU was my first thought as well, but then again no load and my rig doesnt draw enough power by far to kill it.

Yeah you wouldn't be using that much power just doing every day things, but I would try another PSU to see if it is indeed the problem.

Did you overclock anything else? Or was it just the processor? Maybe try a different power cable (I doubt it'll help, but its worth a try)

I'd say your mobo has been damaged by a power surge, random offs and ons I find are caused by this.

oh well. it has been running flawless for the past few hours now, if it survives till may i will be fine.
