drive setup help

Hello everyone i just wondering if someone could take a look at my drive setup and tell me what HDDs to use

- Intel 520 series 240gb drive for os and games and ill back it up with a cheap 240gb HDD every day.

- i wont to put to 1TB HDDs in raid 0 and ill back them up everyday with a single 2 TB HDD. so basically me question besides velociraptors what HDDs will be the best for perfomance in a raid 0

- was looking at
-Western Digital RE4 1TB WD1003FBYX
-western digital caviar black
-western digital caviar red

You dont need to put the TB hard drives in RAID0 as I'm guessing they'll just be for data if the SSD if for OS and games, and I'm assuming programs too?

You also seem to be spending a lot of money on backups? Not really too sure if thats necessary...

no already got them doing nothing and i was thinking if i put the HDD in raid 0 i will get more performance then a single 2tb

Umm, well you would, but if there's only music and films on the hard drive anyway, then there's no benefit to putting them in RAID0.

james is correct if its just for storage then raid wont be of much use to you other than making the 2 into one
