Dragons in Indonesia?

Who knows, maybe. There will be all kinds of shit out there, think of how deep the sea is, there is fish out their with light bulbs on them because its so dark down there.

I think there is a reason an idea comes to life, a dragon, an alien etc. I have seen a UFO...most of you will probably laugh but I know it was. Apparently there was one really low over Southport when I was young as well and shook the area.

There is something to do with the bible with Jesus stood with UFO's flying over him, some ancient shit in Jerusalem. It's funny really, how can something as complex as a human just appear as well, I bet we were put here by aliens. Thats why they come take people and probe their asses, downloading our life data!

Edit: Maybe we are their videogames! Some noob might be up their controlling me now, his skills better be good and not get me killed.

I feel you man, I've never seen an alien being too far away and stuff like that, my eyesight aint that good :) But if a dragon can fly and lives on land (and being 10 tons, as the article said) how come no one ever saw one, out of 6 billion pairs of eyes?

on a side note, I once had a paranormal experience (which I still cant seem able to explain until today) so I won't judge you for believing in aliens......... (is this the start of a new thread?)

I think I've had a paranormal experience, to be honest it's weird because something about it whenever I remember it makes my eyes water like shit, but I'm not emotional or anything...f'in odd. Maybe I'm just physcic.

I was sleeping at my cousins once when I was in primary school and for some went and looked out the window because I couldn't get back to sleep, and strangel thought "Wouldn't it be weird if someone was in the shed" (the shed had a glass window) so turned my head, looked and a man was staring at me really like :| so I shit my self (almost) and jumped back in bed, too scared to move. I told my auntie the next morning so she went and had a look but all the locks and stuff were still on the shed fine.

Both her and my cousin had said over the years though they felt it was haunted there for a few different reasons. Even when I was a teen I never went upstairs there alone, it just had an odd feeling.

Edit: The dragon thing could easily be real, it's just like a lizard with wings, not much of a change. Considering we were supposed to be monkeys aswell...

I think there was something on the loch ness monster as well, can't remember were it was supposed to of been seen. Again, I can't see why people would just one day think "Oh I know, I'll tell the story of a creature in the water".

Edit: Also whats with all the illuminati stuff? I didn't know about it until not long ago, but now its weird, this hand sign is apparently 666. I noticed recently a wrestler does it, does the sign mean anything else?

I think when we can migrate to Mars which was on the other day I might put my name down, this world is odd.

Mine was a couple years ago, I was like 15 or 16 at the time. I was in my bed reading a book and in the corner of my eye I was seeing the open door of my room behind the book, when suddenly I saw someone running, bumping into the door pretty hard and continued running to the room next to mine. I was startled and instantly woke up thinking it was my brother (although he was about 6ft at the time and I believe I saw something like 3ft, and wearing yellow haha) didn't find anything in the corridors or adjacent rooms, asked my parents and no one had heard anything. I remember that as being one of the worst nights of my life, didn't sleep for half a minute and started feeling hot as hell (in the middle of winter) and was all sweaty until morning. Now I always close my door to avoid things like this happening again.

When I was young, probably like 5-6, I had a dream every night of a tiny woman, like 2ft, a witch I guess with a black mesh/net thing over her face and she'd chase me around the room, she had a rabbit as well, probably had shark teeth or something but I don't remember the rabbit so much. It was every night though, it took forever for me to wake up and get away from the dream. I tried Googling it years ago after I saw a program of people that would dream of these monsters, demonds or whatever and apparently it's not just a coincidence dream but the 'characters' 'existed' like devils and shit. Couldn't find her though...which I think is a good thing. Last thing I want is a demon chasing me in my dreams trying to catch me lol and probably my soul.

I'll just chokeslam the mo'f**** now!

Its probably just a species of Flying Lizard that survives excessive heat really well. I kind of want one as a pet to keep my tortoise company :3.

Probably grow huge and end up eating it! Didn't it say it'll grow as big were it needs to eat a cow or something? That must mean it's pretty big.

Edit: Canada's former Minister says Aliens are working with US Gov.

Typical, why is it always America.

good to know someones from my area haha

Funny thing about dragons, people from all over the world, all the way from Ancient times to Medieval times, most of which, especially during Ancient times who would have never met or even been aware of each other existing all have stories and pictures of Dragons.

One difference between the descriptions of these Dragons though are how they look. Stories and images of dragons from the Eastern parts of the world like China, India etc, their dragons look like this

And from the west like Europe they look like this

Obviously no evidence of Dragons exist, or remains of them ever found. But it's strange that people from all over the world all have stories of Dragons that all apart from looking different are of the same creature.

it's bullshit. all of it. every single paranormal experience and every mythic creature.
for the guys who talk about their "paranormal" experiences here, that stuff is quite normal and happens to everyone once in a while, it's just your mind playing tricks on you.

I'm 50/50 on this, apart from them seeming stupidly real (like dreams anyway), I'm 99.999999% sure we're not alone in this supposedly infinite universe, so somewhere, there are dragons :) oh, and flying ponies pooping rainbows too :)

the "paranormal" experiences feel very real because they are made up by your own mind, so it blurs the lines between reality and make believe.
yea i can't deny that there probably are dragons somewhere in the universe, but i can be pretty sure that there are none on our planet.

I have to say i'm with SeekaX on this one. The brain is a hugely powerful thing and can make anything appear to be anything if the circumstances are right.

I 100% believe in aliens because to think we're the only life in the infinite universe just seems ignorant and dumb but I don't believe we've been visited by them because we would know.

I love how touchy feely this thread was until Seeka comes in with his usual no crap hammer-down approach.

It's like page 1, nice conversation, page 2.. SEEKAX Bringing the PAIN!

That said, keep it respectable please, i.e if someone believe a) don't tell them it's "bullshit".. everyone is entitled to their beliefs

(as a pretty hefty Atheist that wasn't easy to say... so get on board or don't bother replying)

i'm bringing the PAIN!

all i said is that pretty much all paranormal experiences are very easily explained and origin just by people's need to have something special about themselves.
i'm not saying that god doesn't exist or that creatures like dragons don't exist somewhere. i used to be an atheist, but recently i came the the conclusion that atheism is a pretty narrow minded answer which has got nothing to do with logic.

To each his own, it was a warning not an accusation ;)

Your replies just make me chuckle at times. You don't do much for your stereotype lets just say

i guess i'm known for not being too sensitive about things, but someone's gotta be the hardass
seekax a.k.a. the devil's advocate.

What does that even mean? You either don't believe in God or you do. If you don't believe in god or the belief of any kind of divine intervention then you are indeed and atheist.

Personally, as someone who believes in science, there is too much scientific evidence and scientific proof that near enough proves evolution and many other things that rule out of any kind of any divine intervention to even entertain the thought that a god exists.

If you are trying to say that you are no longer an atheist because you think there may be some kind of divine intervention then surely you can't rule out the paranormal as you did in your other post.

not being an atheist doesn't mean that you believe in god as he is described by some religion. atheism in general is mistaken for not believing in christianity/judaism/the islam. but it actually means that you believe that there was no conscious being involved in our existence, but if there was no conscious mind behind our existence, then why are there the rules of physics? an existence without a conscious mind setting the rules seems very unlikely and very chaotic.
we had a thread a couple days ago about the idea of us living in some sort of a simulation, if that scenario was true then that would make the programmer the conscious being that created us and therefore in a way "god".
i don't follow any religion or any kind of theory for our existence, thinking that we know the answer even though we aren't even able to observe 90% of the universe, which also means that saying there defiantly is no god is just as ignorant as saying that some religion is without a doubt true.
