Dominator GT 2133MHz or Redline 1600MHz?

So I made a thread earlier and I was wondering what RAM I should get. I was told that I should get 4GB Mushkin Redline RAM over 8GB OCZ Gold RAM. But I was just looking at the online retailer I usually buy stuff from to see if they had something new then something caught my eye. It was a 4GB Corsair Dominator GT 2133MHz 9.10.9.27 kit. But the thing that is holding me back from getting the Dominator GT is that I use the Noctua NH-D14 which means I either have to rise the fan so it looks all awkward or unscrew the heat sink from one of the RAM sticks. I don't really want to do either and heat was another concern I had since I won't be able to use the Airflow RAM cooler or what Corsair calls it. And the timings are a bit high too. So any help here?

With the D14 you will have to remove one of the heatsinks off the top AND move the fan up but its all good tbh. And dont bother with the 2133mhz just stick to 2000mhz ram. I prefer having a 10x link with my bclk so 200x20 =4ghz ram = 200x10 for 2000mhz and its all spunky monkey lovely jubley

Good point. But I'm not sure if I want to remove it. It's just a hassle, you know. Would you recommend Dominator GT 2000MHz or Mushkin Redline 1600MHz?

Right for starters dude Ill get to your posts when I can please dont start PM'ing me everytime you make a reply fella.

Removing the sink takes no time what so ever and tbh you are the one with the answer. Do YOU want 1600mhz or 2000mhz? Seeing as both sets of ram are very different you need to specify what you need. Obv quicker is better and will be better for an overclock if you are planning to push the CPU north of 160bclk

Chill out, man. I thought you left the thread for good because you've done that before.

It doesn't really matter what RAM I get as long as it doesn't hinder my over clocking ability CPU wise. (Of course both do, but considering I'm using a D14.) So basically I just want what's best. But since I got to remove all that stuff the Dominator GT RAM got to be better by far for me to get it over the Mushkin since the Mushkin fits without any problems. Are you in a bad mood 'cuz you're sick or what?

No mate Im not in a bad mood, but Ill post when I can, or if I want to matey. Im here for everyone not just for you.

Just dont appreciate people telling me "Ive posted here - so please reply" - Just makes me not want to help matey.

thats a bit harsh mate he was only sayin u dont need to pm him after each reply he will get an email notification when u post a reply

Everyone better now?

Just IMO though, I think you may find the long-term reliability of the Mushkin kit a bit better than the Corsair. That's not to say the Corsair is bad (their kits are bloody fast - and RMA very good), but previous experiences have told me to steer clear of the super-duper-oc'd kits for a main PC, and use them only if i'm planning to set up a bench rig and do some serious OC'ing.

Just means you will have to run a different divider when running a 200bclk.... no biggy except the slower ram speed tbh. Some people prefer titer times to all out bandwidth.
