Does anyone know if the Dell 2001FP LCD is the same height as Dell 2405FPW?

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone knows whether the dell 2001FP LCD is the same height as the dell 2405FPW LCD? I have a feeling the 2001FP is a tad shorter but if soneone could confirm?

They are height adjustable however the screens themselves won't be at the same level if they're not the same height.

So would it be more appropriate to ask about the vertical dimension of the screen(s) instead of the unit itself?

If it's widescreen, the height of the screens will not be the same - however, if its a standard unit there a good chance it'll be the same or v.close.

I think our friend nick wants dualscreen 24'' and 20'', so that's why he needs to know wether the screens have the same height...

You are indeed correct Tim. And yes that would have been a more appropriate way to word it.

They are both 1200 vertical res however the dot pitch is different which implies the 2001FP is shorter.

Grab the tech specs for each monitor and have a look at the physical dimensions. You can get them in PDF off the Dell site.

I have 1 somewhere for the 21" and 24" Widescreens, so I know you can get them.

I did have a look but couldn't find the screen size just the overall unit size. But maybe I didn't look hard enough.
