Oh hey thats nifty Jim... I havent really gotten in to Digg or Slashdot, what exactly is it for?

If you check out their home pages that should give you an idea whats going on.

Digg and Delicious basically allow you to submit a news story, and if enough people submit the same story from the same site it ends up on the front page of digg.com / del.icio.us getting uber hits.

Same kind of thing for Slashdot, but they will put the entire article on their site. If you havn't heard of the "slashdot effect" its where sites get hit by so much traffic from /. that they colapse under the strain.

Slashdot is more for you to write your article about our article (if that makes sense).

So basically quote some of our content, comment on it, and leave it open ended for the /. community to talk about.

Yar, go to your Profile+History at the top, than find manage friends on the right in a tab. Just search for MikeEnIke in that little search window that pops up on the next page and find me, or you can now just go to "People who befriended me" and add me back.

One of the main reasons they get so much trafic is that everyone poors there RSS feeds into there Widgits and readers respectivly. Would be very cool to see some OC3D articals on them.
