Well i want to get some parts this June and i don't know what to get. Tell me if these parts are ok. I want to be under $450.

What is the max that this board will let me OC? Also if you have any other suggestions on what parts i would like to know.

All the P5Bs are apparently pretty good clockers. RAM looks good too.

I was looking at that and does the 4M L2 cache make a big difference when compared to the 2M?

KK wsa thinking that it would make a difference then i had never seen anybody have it so i thought it was bad but since you said it was better ill get it. Also with that mobo do you think i will be able to fit my sound card and my network card? i ask this because the PCI slots are very close to the PCIx16 and dont know if my gfx card will touch with my other 2 cards? Would it make sense to spend extra money and get the P5B Deluxe?

It was only released around a week ago, probably why no-one has one. Basicaly it's the same chip as the 6300 but with the extra cache.

I think the board would be fine, with 2 cards you'd still have a pci slot between them and the gfx card. Why would you be using a network card though?

Couldn't really comment on if the deluxe was worth the extra though, I've never used either board.

I have a wireless network card because my computer is in my room and the modem is in the office.

Ah ok, well it looks like they'd fit ok. If you spent the extra on the deluxe you could also get rid of the wireless card (I think the dlx has built in wireless). If you think that'd be worth it.

It's a good basic setup though.

There is a deluxe and a wifi/deluxe. I would either get the deluxe or the regular P5B and a HS.

Have deluxe wifi P5B and it is a great overclocker. Would'nt really bother with the wifi edition unless you really need it, but do get the deluxe if overclocking.
